JRF is building an interdisciplinary team, that can bring the necessary experience, values, energy and creativity that will be needed to deliver this important programme of work. We actively welcome applications from people from diverse backgrounds.

What we are looking for

The individual job descriptions describe the core functions of the roles and experience needed. You do not need to have a background in philanthropy to apply. You should, however:

• be committed to the urgency, the depth and the experimental nature of this work;
• have an appetite for risk whilst respecting the need for proportionate rigour;
• want to and be able to think about systems, not projects;
• understand that equity must underpin everything you do;
• be willing to learn and unlearn, to develop as an individual and to collaborate at all times

Team development

JRF invests in its people. See more about specific employee benefits here. Considerable investment will also be made in the development of the Emerging Futures team, as individuals and together, to support success, throughout 2023 and beyond. For example, there will be specific budget for both individual and team induction and development and the Learning Lead will devote 50% of their time to this goal.
